Before Saturday I had never met Jennifer, but as I met her in person, it felt like we had already been good friends for a long time! It was so fun to spend and capture the day with them!
These two have one of the sweetest love stories! Hallmark needs to make their story into a movie! When Jennifer was in kindergarten, her family moved into Launy's neighborhood where they met for the very first time! She grew up playing with him and his brother! As they grew older they both moved on and had separate lives, but at their 25 year high school reunion they met again, and sparks flew! It's been sweet love ever since!
A few days before the wedding, Jennifer emailed me and told me that Launy had been in the hospital for the past week with pneumonia and that he had just barely gotten out in time for the rehearsal. She said we might need to work around a few things at the wedding. One of those things was that he needed to receive an IV of medicine! I'm sure not many people can say that they had to do that on their wedding day! He did so good and Jennifer's nurse skills came in handy! These two already have had the chance to practice the "in sickness and in health" part of their vows!
Their wedding was so beautiful and tender! They had the sweetest toasts and I'm pretty sure there weren't many dry eyes in the room (including mine!). It was so beautiful to see the love these two had for each other and their two adoring families there showing them their love and support.
So happy for you Jennifer and Launy! Thank you for choosing me to capture these special moments! I hope you love all the pictures!

ReplyDeleteThe event could not have gone more smoothly, and from my perspective, less stressfully. I was able to relax, let my hair down, and totally enjoy the party, and felt totally pampered and cared for by their manager. The food at the wedding venues was excellent, and the floral were gorgeous and reasonably priced.
