Vintage Book Inspired Wedding at The Newton | Shana + Bryan | Arizona Wedding Photographer

A miracle happened on Saturday! All year I have been so nervous for this wedding, not for any reason other than last year at this time it was quite literally 120 degrees outside! Oh, we had backup plans, in case we were to face the firey heat of Arizona, but we lucked out! It rained the night before and we had clouds all day! Pretty sure we were in the 80's during portraits! And oh did the portraits turn out so pretty!!

It's a bit of a challenge to shoot portraits in the middle of the city, but we found an alleyway with so many hidden gems! I just couldn't get enough of these two in front of them! You'll see just how much variety of backgrounds we got in just a short amount of portrait time!

Now to get to the real highlight of the day! These two!! Right from the moment I met them, I knew they were the exact type of couple I love to book.  Their love story and the way you could tell they just adored each other just spoke to my heart.

I loved the theme Shana chose for her wedding--focused on books. From the book-like invitation, books at their engagement session, books that were the favors/seating charts for the guests, and the decor, it was amazing how it all came together so perfectly!

Huge congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lusk! Thank you again for asking me to be a part of your day!

Shana had custom perfume made for her wedding! Isn't it pretty?! Read the bottle! "Mrs. Lusk"!

 Their first look!

They wanted to stop in at the record shop down the road for a couple pictures!

Darling bridesmaids! I told them to run down the alley! You can't help but smile big when you run!

Most joyful just married photo!

Her handmade book details were amazing!
And just in case the day wasn't special enough, it was also their 10 year anniversary!

Such a beautiful unique day!

xoxo,

Trisha
