Two days onto our cruise I had service for just a couple minutes and my phone started exploding. Pretty amazing how popular you feel after not having service for 3 days :) In those messages I found one that made me squeal out loud as soon as I read it.
It was a message from my husband's Aunt Mary Ann wondering if I'd be bringing my camera to the family reunion and if I would be willing to capture photos of her son's proposal! Of course I said yes!!! How could I not?
It wasn't until a few hours before the actual proposal that I found out there would be this big setup! And holy moly, did my heart get set a flutter! Mary Ann and Cade went all out to propose to the love of his life. This gorgeous set up, complete with rose petals, luminaries, gorgeous white pillows, lanterns, and chocolate was the perfect setting right on the beach front!
As they approached the whole setup I just heard a couple joyful quiet squeals as Kalie began to realize what was happening. They walked up and I don't think they even noticed me there for 5 minutes! They were just so in the moment, feeling the beautiful joy that absolutely envelopes you when the person you love asks you to become their forever.
Congratulations Cade and Kalie!! These are such special moments! Thank you Cade and Mary Ann for conspiring to have me capture them! Hope you love them all!
