Saturday marked my last wedding of the year, and the last one before baby boy makes his debut in early January!! Shooting two weddings this last weekend at nearly 8 months pregnant was definitely a little intimidating leading up to it, but, let me just say, it was amazing and my creative juices were definitely flowing all weekend long! And, oh boy, I am in love with all the beautiful photos!

First off, I just have to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people that helped me this Fall--all the bridesmaids who helped with everything I needed and grabbed me water on the hot days, my brides for their kindness and joyful attitudes, their loving families, my amazing team, and the wedding planners/coordinators that helped everything run so smoothly! It has been an incredible year and my heart is so full!! Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

Jessica and Glen's wedding was the perfect, beautiful end to my year! She chose a mix of soft desert tones as her color palette, and then planned the most gorgeous wedding with them! She's a wedding planner herself, so of course I was so honored when she booked me, and second, I KNEW it was going to be beautiful. And even though my expectations were high, they were completely blown away and exceeded by 100 fold!

There were tender, beautiful moments all day long, but I especially loved that several times during the day, Jessica requested that everyone leave the bridal suite and she just have a few moments to herself. Later, the officiant, bridesmaids, and moms all gathered together before the ceremony and prayed. A beautiful part of the prayer was that he prayed for her to be completely present as she experienced every moment that day--to soak it all in and just enjoy every second. I loved that so much!

And now that the day is over, I hope these beautiful pictures captured at least some of the incredible magic of the day! Glen and Jessica are such a special couple and I am so grateful l got to be the one to capture these moments for them!! I have the best brides and grooms!

Congratulations Glen and Jessica!! I adore you two and wish you all a lifetime of beautiful memories and blissful married moments! I hope these pictures will become an heirloom to you and your family and that they will bring back all the memories of the love and joy felt on this day!

I'll end with their beautiful love story, told by the bride:

"Glen and I met nearly 5 years ago, shortly after I moved to sunny Phoenix from rainy Seattle. We quickly developed an amazing friendship filled with laughter and fun, and finally had our first official date.... We both KNEW right then and there - we'd found the one! Glen proposed under the Rainbow Bridge in Utah right after a gorgeous surprise boat tour of Lake Powell! It was absolutely perfect!"

Her mom did all the alterations on her dress! This is even her dress form she kept it on!

This little guy! Probably the coolest and cutest little photo bomber ever!

As I was posing these two, we went to move Jessica and found this guy had decided to sneak onto her dress and get his own close up look of the gown! ;)

Okay, these drop dead gorgeous bridesmaids were the sweetest to me all day long! So grateful for all their help!

I could have photographed these girls all day long! So, so dreamy!

I still can't believe this was Glen's parent's home! And this is their back/side yard! Pretty sure they could not have picked a more incredible place for their wedding!

They did the most beautiful hand fasting ceremony!

They set up this gorgeous light tree in their cocktail hour space! of course I had to take advantage and get a few magical night time shots! Thanks for letting me sneak you two away for these!
