Cody + Adam || Boyce Thompson Arboretum Engagement Session || Phoenix Wedding Photographer

Okay, prepare yourselves for the most beautiful dreamy pictures and the sweetest love story!

Cody met Adam at the school bus stop. She was picking up her brother's kids and he was picking up his son. It was a while before they officially met. They noticed each other, oh how they noticed each other. But they were always just a little too far away to chat, or to pick up a conversation, or to introduce themselves. Besides, even if they did, who knew if the other person was already in a relationship or not?

One day Adam and Cody found themselves standing next to each other in line at the bus stop and they started talking. It was a great conversation but no phone numbers were exchanged. She didn't see Adam for a while after that. (He was traveling for work.) She wondered if the cute guy she talked to was just super friendly but already dating or married. But, the next time she saw Adam, he didn't waste anytime and got her number! They fell head over heels for each other fast and hard! Soon it wasn't just "I want to see this girl" or "it'll be fun to go out with her" but it was,  "I want to marry her." Cody still remembers that sweet moment when he told her "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen."

Just a little while later, on a romantic getaway for the two of them in Savannah, Georgia, Adam made his move. The real ring hadn't come in yet, but that didn't matter. With a little dollar ring he found at quaint little shop in Savannah, he got down on one knee and proposed. A cute little old lady even caught it all on camera for them!

Annnnnd, now they are getting married.......this month!!!

Their engagement session was so beautiful! Not only did the pictures turn out beautiful, but the moments exchanged between these two during the pictures were so tender. Seeing how these two love each other and watching their joy and playfulness grew my heart about ten sizes and made me so grateful for my own marriage and my sweet husband!

Also, Cody has been one of my sweetest brides! (I've lucked out in that department so far! I adore them all so much!) When I first met Cody, she made me realize just how lucky I am to do what I do. She had fallen in love with my work and had to have me. She reached out just hoping that we would be the perfect fit with budget and availability, and we were! I'm so grateful to be doing what I'm doing and to be so appreciated and valued by these sweet brides of mine! They spoil me and I love getting to spoil them back! They make me so grateful for life and teach me to enjoy every moment.

I'm soooooo excited for Cody and Adam's wedding later this month! It's going to be at a gorgeous venue in Tucson and I can hardly wait! Especially to see these two all dressed up in her gown and his tux!! Ooh, it's going to be amazing!

xoxo,

Trisha

  1. My daughter was married here and all our guests said that this is the most amazing wedding they've ever been too. At San Francisco wedding venues I love the dark wood, the beamed ceilings, and the overall sort of great vibe of the building.
