I've been so excited to share this adorable family session with you guys since I captured it! Over the past year my friendship with Nicole has just grown and grown! She recently picked up photography and has been growing so fast over such a short amount of time! She's traveled with me to a styled shoot 5 hours away in New Mexico, two weddings in Tucson, and a good number of weddings in the Phoenix area! Not to mention, we see each other all the time since our daughters are in a playgroup together. (It's really a mom group----kids come play, mom's come chat so we can all keep our sanity! :) ) Nicole comes off pretty quiet and sweet, but then one day she'll open up and boom, she's a wild woman, still super sweet but so funny!

I have had so much fun getting to know her and learning together! It was so fun to get her and Jon and little Clara and Dawson in front of my camera. Fun, and definitely an adventure. Those almost three year olds are pretty wild sometimes! We ended up with a lot more action/interactive shots instead of you typical smiling at the camera pictures. I didn't mind though--those happen to be my favorite!

I did get to steal Jon and Nicole away for a bit (while we imprisoned the little one's into their stroller, haha) to do some couple's shots. Ah! These two make my heart melt! Really, I can't help but smile when I look at all their pictures!

Also, this post will most likely be my last post before Christmas! So Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you so much for an incredible year! I'm so grateful for the love and support all of you have given me on this crazy adventure of mine!

Clara was a little harder to capture. It may have taken some serious bribery to get her to sit still. Serious bribery and some ninja skills to keep up with her!

And what you don't see are two babies yelling for mom and dad in the background! But when you almost have a three year old, you've successfully made it to the point where those little shouts don't bug you. In fact, you get really, really good at selective hearing :)
