Zac and Victoria | A Gorgeous Family Homestead Wedding

When I was invited by my friend Marquette to help photograph this wedding I was like a little kid at Christmas. I couldn't sleep the night before from all the anticipation! She is one of my favorite photographers to shoot with and weddings are my absolute favorite events to capture! As I arrived, my jaw was dropping left and right. The location was gorgeous (a diamond in the middle of the desert), the florals were to die for, the dress was stunning, the colors were incredible, everything was perfect.

The wedding was located on this beautiful family homestead owned by the grandmother who had put years and years into cultivating the trees and yard that surrounded the home. The bride's father had grown up in the home, so she had been there many times growing up. And now, she was to be married there!

Zac and Victoria are such darling couple, and though I was meeting them for the first time that day, they made me feel like I was an old friend. The whole family was that way! From her grandma telling me about her bad back and wanting to know about my husband's back surgery to her dad showing me an old picture of their family because I teased them about not smiling in the photos. I love weddings and families like that. Everyone was so happy and loving as the anticipation built for the ceremony.

The ceremony was so emotional for me! It was absolutely beautiful, from the setup to the words spoken. I may have shed a tear or two of happiness for these two as they said their vows. It was such a gift to witness the love emanating from these two towards each other.

Congratulations on your marriage, Zac and Victoria! May you have many years of wedded bliss!
